This paper informs you the instructions for preparing the camera-ready proceeding to be submitted to the International Interdisciplinary-Symposium on Gaseous and Liquid Plasmas (ISGLP) 2008. A typical example of the page style and format for the camera-ready proceeding to be submitted to ISGLP2008 has been described.

1. Introduction

This paper gives the instructions for preparing the camera-ready proceeding to be submitted to ISGLP2008. The set of instructions is described in the style and format to be used by authors.
The proceedings of accepted papers will be printed and bound in the CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS OF ISGLP2008.
An eight- (plenary speakers), six- (invited speakers), and four-page (general participants) camera-ready paper must be respectively submitted via the conference web site:
http://www.plasma.ecei.tohoku.ac.jp/ISGLP/.
Please note that do not exceed the limit of the appropriate pages. Submissions by post will not be accepted.

2. Instructions

Proceedings should contain a compendious description of the objectives of the study, method of approach, important results and conclusions.
Submitted proceedings must be camera-ready and in four pages. Use a vertical A4 size paper (210 × 297 mm). The top, bottom, left, and right margins of the proceeding are 30 mm, 25 mm, 25 mm, and 25 mm, respectively. One column format should be used.
Text must be typed or printed out clearly in English. At the center top of the first page, the title of paper, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), address(es), corresponding author's phone number, fax number, and E-mail address, and the abstract of paper should be described. Place a blank line between the title and author(s) name(s), between the address(es) and abstract, and the abstract and the main text. The upper limit of the number of word in the abstract is 100.
The main text should be organized in a one column, full justified. Use single spacing in the body of the text. The section should be numbered starting with "1. Introduction". Place a blank line between the sections. Acknowledgements and References should not be numbered. DO NOT FORGET to check spelling. Page number should not be added for easily preparing the proceedings book.

3. Font, Figures, Tables, Colors, and References

Recommended font is Times or Times New Roman. Fonts in double-byte characters such as Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc. fonts CANNOT be used for both texts and figures. Font size of paper title, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), abstract, normal text, headings (e.g., 1. Introduction), and text in tables are 14 pt bold, 10 pt bold, 10 pt italic, 10 pt, 10 pt, 10 pt bold, and 9 pt, respectively. Acknowledgements and references may be typed with 9 pt.

Fig. 1: ISGLP 2008.

Figure captions should be below the figures. Table captions should be above the tables. Arabic numerals should be used for figures like Fig. 1, and Roman numerals for tables like Table I. Place a blank line between the text and the figures or tables.
We strongly recommend using black and white images in your proceeding because the Conference Proceedings will be printed in black and white.
The reference style in line with the Japanese Journal of Applied Physics is recommended. In the case of referring to the references in the text, the reference number should be described like [1].

4. Important notice

Prepare a Word (recommend) or PDF file of your proceeding which should involve ALL FONTS AND GRAPHICS used in the file. The authors are strongly requested to check your PDF file by themselves. The conference committee DOES NOT TAKE CARE of repairing files in incorrect or insufficient format.

Acknowledgements

We would like to cordially express thanks to all contributors to ISGLP2008 for their cooperation in the Conference.
